Recoding

So I'm completely re-coding Icarus One and so far it's going well, it currently runs just shy of 4000 fps on my pc! The new way I've coded it will give me some practice for when I move onto 3D games as it uses all the same packages etc. I'm not sure about the GUI, I might need to redesign it to look a little better but other than that, I think the game is almost ready to have an actual menu system put in rather than that test one I've been using! Another addition to the game is the ability to create your own levels, it now uses a 2D tile map editor to create the maps and then the game will load those maps and you can choose from them, I've had loads of fun making maps so far haha. Wish me luck!
